Twitter Now Lets You Combine Images, Videos and GIFs in One Tweet

Expressing your thoughts on Twitter just got a little easier. Twitter announced Wednesday that all iOS and Android users are now able to post images, videos and GIFs within the same tweet.

“Get ready to mix it up with visuals on Twitter,” Twitter Support tweeted.

Twitter users have been able to post multiple photos in the past, but now users can tweet up to four images, videos or GIFs in a single tweet.

Creating a mixed-media tweet is the same as creating a tweet before. You compose a tweet, select the media or GIF icons and add the content you want to add to the tweet before you tweet it out.

“We’re always looking for new and exciting ways to help creators share more and be seen,” Twitter wrote in a blog post.

Instagram has a similar feature that lets people post pictures and videos within the same post, but viewers have to swipe across to see the other media types. Mixed-media tweets, on the other hand, let you see all of the media types at once.
